In Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® lessons, you use your attention to learn something about how you move. As you practice, you build self-awareness, recognize your habits, and find new and more expansive ways of moving.

The benefits include pain relief, greater range of motion, and an increased pleasure in the movements of daily life, including walking, bending, reaching, dancing, and more.

And because how you move affects how you see the world, you may also find you can think more clearly, solve problems more readily, and ride the waves of emotions more easily.

Upcoming Workshops

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes are open to all ages. Lessons may take place standing, sitting, or lying down. Modifications are always offered. No previous experience with the Feldenkrais Method is necessary. If you have special needs or circumstances, please contact me.


Move Through the Holidays With Ease

On the cusp of one of the busiest times of the year, take a few hours to come back to yourself.

Through gentle, mindful movement and focused attention, you'll build self-awareness and release old habits and patterns that limit you and cause discomfort.

As the body and brain begin to talk to each other in new ways, you'll find new possibilities of movement that give you greater ease in the everyday tasks of living, including walking, sitting, and even holiday shopping.

All ages and conditions are welcome. Lessons will be on the floor and no previous experience with the Feldenkrais Method® is necessary.


What is an Awareness Through Movement Class Like?



Private Lessons

With a private lesson you can get individual attention to achieve a specific goal, like improve performance, increase athletic capacity, or alleviate pain.

Currently, I’m authorized to teach Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons and in training to offer hands-on Functional Integration (FI) lessons. While most private sessions are FI lessons, until I’m authorized to teach FI, one-on-one work will be customized ATM lessons.
